
Chocolate Granola

Ingredients
- 3 1/2 cups rolled oats
- 1/2 cup ground flaxseeds
- 1/3 cup coconut oil
- 1/4 cup honey
- 5 tbsp unsweetened cacao powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 cup dark chocolate chips
- pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325°. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
- In a large bowl, combine the coconut oil, honey, vanilla, cacao powder, salt and cinnamon. Stir until a paste forms
- Fold in the oats and flaxseeds. Mix until all the chocolate paste is coating the oats
- Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking sheet and spread into an even layer
- Bake 30 minutes, stirring halfway
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle the chocolate chips over the top. Stir gently to fold the chocolate chips into the granola
- Allow granola to cool before storing in an airtight container at room temperature
Notes
- If stored in an airtight container at room temperature, it will last for up to a month
