Michiko Caringal is the Founder and Owner of Happy Down There Physiotherapy in Vancouver, BC. She is a highly engaging and empathetic physiotherapist with over 15 years of experience in clinical, research, education, and leadership roles in rehabilitation, health care and fitness. She holds a MSc. in Physical Therapy as well as a MHSc. in Bioethics from the University of Toronto.
Michiko became passionate about pelvic health physiotherapy after her own personal experience with pelvic pain. She has since dedicated her continuing education to the treatment of pelvic floor dysfunction and has advanced training in the treatment of pelvic conditions relating to all genders, including pelvic pain, incontinence, sexual dysfunction, and other conditions listed below. Michiko’s mission is simple: to provide a safe space to improve the quality of life of individuals.
